I've been pretty focused on my wargaming hobby the last few years and haven't really touched DeviantArt at all... but with the news that NCSoft wants to shut down City of Heroes and HAS shut down Paragon Studios, I've got pretty involved in the #SaveCOH movement, and wanted to share a few things I'm creating as a result here.

It's been over a year since I've updated my DeviantArt with anything new.  It's been a very busy and eventful year, but unfortunately what it hasn't been, is artistic. I haven't done a single City of Heroes character drawing in ages, and I just really haven't had the drive to complete one.  That's not to say I never will again, just that it hasn't really been appealing to me lately. However, I have found myself enamored by a very different artform - Painting and Converting tabletop Wargaming Miniatures.  The first of many of my professional grade pieces is Gahzirra, my Dragonborn Paladin. duckLinks wickedefficient.comFirst, an apology to my watchers for disappearing for, oh, 2 and a half months.  My life has been rather eventful in the last while, and even when I had time to sit down and draw or colour, the mood just wasn't there. So I've gotten back into the swing of things with something rather simplistic... hopefully not too much so ;) I'm finding that I have more and more trouble trying to trace over my scanned pencil work with my tablet in Photoshop (or Painter IX, or Illustrator, or PSP), and it's been a little bit frustrating for me.  My digital brush strokes never come close to the accuracy and fluidity of my analog
